Sara Kathleen “Kate” Bock
Licensed Massage Therapist — MT #120736
Certified Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor, B.A. Psychology, Master SCUBA Diver Trainer
Kate gained an enthusiastic love and appreciation for massage while living in Thailand and working as a SCUBA Instructor. One of the few medical services available on the island where she worked was Thai massage, and weekly treatments kept her body strong and healthy. A lifelong Yoga practice, followed by training in India to become a Yoga Instructor, further fed her passion for holistic bodywork.
She studied massage at Canterbury College of Natural Medicine in Christchurch, New Zealand (1,920 hour program), then moved back to the USA and began practicing here in 2011. She has worked at premium spas, chiropractic offices, and a medispa as well has having private practice in both Colorado and Texas. She believes strongly in integrating many different techniques to individualize treatment based on every person’s needs at any given moment.
Your time and treatment deserve the utmost respect. In an effort to ensure that everyone’s schedule is guaranteed, we require a credit card number at the time of booking. This card will only be charged (50% of treatment cost) in the event of a no-call, no-show within 24 hours of your appointment time. Appointment confirmation emails and texts are sent to assist and remind you of upcoming appointments. If you are uncomfortable with supplying your credit card number to make your appointment online, please give us a call and we will find an alternative that works for you.
Maori for “loop” or “spiral” — it’s the shape of the unfurling silver fern, symbolizing integration, new life, strength and peace. The spiral shape symbolizes continual motion, while the inner coil symbolizes a return to one’s origin. Living and studying in New Zealand gave me a huge appreciation for the meaning and symbolism of the koru, and its application to massage and a holistic approach to body, mind and spirit.
New life. Growth. Strength. Harmony.
